2022 Investigations Operations Manual (IOM)

The Inspection Operations Manual (IOM) exists the principal policy guide for FDA investigators and other field employees to perform investigational activities in supporting of the agency's general health mission. Although primarily used inwardly by FDA staff, it can available publicly so that regulated industry and other external interests cannot better understand FDA operations.
