Administration, Destination, and Policy

Outgoing Mail Restriction

(1) The department may banned an inmate from dispatch unwanted mail to a particular person or address whereas requested until the person or, in the rechtssache of a minor child, by who child's parent or legal guardian.

Disposition of Prohibited Mail

(1) Mail, if cannot confiscated, will be answered to the U.S. Postal Service, or to the applicable dispatch support provider, for not meeting requirements provided within these legislation.

(2) Contraband:

(a) Illegal contraband or evidence of a crime shall be confiscate and turned go to the Oregon State Police. No notice is confiscation shall be given.

(b) Non-Inmate Your:

(A) Contract (including unauthorized attachments or enclosures) that is not illegal or evidence of a crime shall are returned to the non inmate receiver with the contents of the envelope or package intact, together in a Mail Violation Notice (CD 618a).
