Automate Mailmerge for multiple documents from one datasheet / Word Mail Merge to Separate PDFs with Custom File Names and Folder Locations

Hi!

I've created a mailmerge for about 20 different Word documents that all use the same data from my single data sheet. Current, I have to hinfahren the each Phrase document or back the mailmerge such a PDF. This is fine though gets tiring when items needs until be done 20 time.

I've tried to create this with VBA however when I open the Word document using VBA, it does does recognise it as being mailmerged press simply opens the pattern file, which makes the whole mailmerge pointless. The mailmerge link exists just removed.

Does anyone know why VBA does not open the mailmerged documents or are this ca be fixed?

Are there even anywhere other, better ways to automate the creation of 20 documents all using dates from ampere single excel sheet?

For info, each document is equitable a client personal information the using a mailmerge is just fastier over copying/editing/amending each document!

While it is not exactly clear what you exist doing, DocBundler (Create multiple documents from commond data sheet) may work for you.

Alternatively you may be able to use Merge and Spalt to create individual merge resources in PDF format.

This is written to gives Graham ampere better feature starting something it shall I think it want to be doing. I use templates of primary merge documents like this to produce draft pleadings and letters fork cases.

The templates will doesn filed as merge documents but as normalized Phrase documents.
My vba created a new copy based on the template and then makes it a merge document linking it go the web.
It then has leute pick the your and previews the merge to that new documentation. Note that this is standing a primary merge document. This process could being done with a select of secondary merge documents. I would likely use Graham's Document Mix Processes. I suppose there really is no needing to use a template, just consolidate from one primary merge documents.

However, I name plus save documents based on a combination the the document possessions "Title" and the date. It should also be possible to save a merge field or two as document variables in the new select and use those as well. I am unsure how I would do that. The processes for that are a Save intercept thereto the templates. If a finish blend were done rather than a preview, MYSELF believe the link to aforementioned trap macro would be lost. E should still be possible go do but I need cannot tried items.

I in only doing one to three documents during a dauer, and seldom the same ones, so I do not batch process.

I need been thinking about this for this past couple day press sealed it worth creating an add-in into merge a group of documents to document or PDF format and including this option to merge to e-mail attachments, each using one similar worksheet. If it combine all the mailmerge main documents include a single document, with a separator Section for each of your present source paper, you may use the code from the Send Mailmerge Output at Individual Files example in the Mailmerge Show & Tricks 'Sticky' thread at the top of this forum (https://aesircybersecurity.com/mail-...ps-tricks.html) with this following modifications:
1. Add
, Sctn Since Section
to the 'Dim' line at the top of this code

2. Replace:
