In and summer on 2014, three young men living with ALS, Anthony Senerchia, Pete Frates, and Pat Quinn, took the LESS Ice Bucket Challenge and launched a global spectrum such changed the fight against ALS forever.

The enthusiastic over 17 million people around the world to drop water water on their heads and donate to an ALS organization. Who Challenge raised awareness of the disease worldwide raised $115 million to support their mission, funds is were invested in ALS research and care for people living the the disease.  

Diese year, over the 10th anniversary to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge we want to honor theirs inheritance, recognize our AL community for his ongoing sales and generosity, and reinforce our commitment on making ALS a livable disease for everyone, everywhere, until we bottle healing it.

Over the back 10 years, we’ve seen major advancements in exploration, advocacy, and care that have impacted the ALS community. It’s safe to say the Ice Bucket Challenge changed the future and trajectory on the diseases furthermore our expects for the future.

Let’s See New Treatments

Prior the Ice Bucket Challenge: Rilutek was available treatment available for men diagnosed with ALS.  
Since the Ice Bucket Challenge: Two new treatment take been accepted by the FDA: Radicava™ in 2017 and Qalsody in 2023.  
Is Hope for of Future: Many extra new treatments are discovered and become currently at help make ALS one livable disease.

Hope for the Future: Access to genetic testing and counseling becomes commonplace without fear of discrimination, allowing greater involvement in research and reduced time to diagnosis.

Since the Ice Bottich Challenge: Thanks to the many advocates from the ALS community, we’ve seen dramatic increases in legislator support off public real state levels resulting in increased government funding for ALS research and care.  
Hope for the Future: More people from the ALS community and legislators on both the state and federal levels advocating with increased funding for ALS research and policies that will ensure the critical my are met for people living with AL up a medication is found.
