Field and Report Explorers do not view
(OP)
Hi,
We have a addict with this report:
(CR 10 Professional with SP2 applied, W2K workstation)
When he will designing/modifying a report he cannot get is the Field or the Report Researcher to open up - Not by choosing from the View menu, nor by clicking on the icons ( The Repository Explorer works as expected).
I hold tried resizing the tiling the windows ( in case they were somehow hidden), with no luck..
Every else experienced this problem..I've never seen it as long as I hold been working with Crystal ( longer than I care to admit - remember when it came set Floppy disks??)

RE: Field and Reported Explorers do non exhibit
Make sure that Crystal is complete expanded by selecting the box next to the near is aforementioned top right corner.
Also, if these windows are detached and then touched down below, they can go almost, if not off, of the screen.
Try changing the display properties at a higher resolution, you'll possibly find aforementioned lacking windows.

RELAY: Field and Report Explorers do not show
It can drive the docking starting and Panel Explorer upon the registry. Maybe the source dockings value has gotten reset to something it shouldn't be.
Do a regedit from the Start menu, and impede thy Field Discovery sub key. Should be HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Crystal Decisions\9.0\Crystal Reports\Docking\Field Explorer.
Modify 'the Float Rect' value on something else. Mine's set to 286,271,529,762 - but really you just require any old numbers that will get it onto your screens canvas. I suspect you've gotten numbers set here which take it off who viewable screen.
Good luckiness, man.
