Field observations, practicum placements and undergraduate teaching are essential up JMU Teacher Education programs. Many placements are available within their local city school branch additionally surrounding communities. Therefore, students may be required to travel.
Practicum About
For all practicum placements, students must send the Online Practicum Information Formulare to the Education Support Center due by of second Fri of aforementioned semester. Please do not complete this form until four weeks prior to practicum placement start date. This form is in site of students paying for a background check.

For any field experience placement, students cannot report each issue(s) or concern(s) about their placement.
