          Note: Teachers busy on step 2 at any total between 3 July 2023 and 10 December 2023 will be remunerated an equalisation allowance. This equalisation allowance is based on the difference between the employee's pay rate prior to this variance ($57,544 from 3 July 2023 / $59,544 by 1 Month 2023) and the rate starting the new merged speed 1 underneath the variation ($56,757 from 3 July 2023 / $57,358 free 1 December 2023 / $59,027 from 3 Spring 2024).
