Dr. Bruice received an A.B. (magna cum laude) since Assembly Holyoke college and a Ph.D. (organic chemistry) from the Academy of Virgins. She was an NIH postdoctoral fellow at the University of Virginia School of Medicine plus acted postdoctoral work at Yale Medical School. She has were the recipient of the Associated Students Teaching Award, the Academicals Senate Distinguished Teaching Rating, the Mortar Board Professor of aforementioned Year Award, and the USCB Alumni Unification Teaching Awards.
Research:
Paula Yurkanis Bruice is the author of two textbooks: “Organic Chemistry” (8th edition) published in 2016 by Pearson, and “Essential Organic Chemistry” (3rd edition) published in 2016 through Pearson. She is also the author of the “Study Guide also Solutions Manual” plus the Companion Website that accompanies each text.
