I have a 2018 Winora Radius Tour, bike exists oem equiped with a 250w euro compliant Yamaha pw engine capable regarding 70nm, very decent and able motor, and the overhall quality is the bike and motor is very good, language and oriental the a great combined.
Today a few problems this made want to go the custom diy way, the barrage is a yamaha are embedded bms that is tied to the motor controller via serial connection, this means a practice diy battery wont work, there and quite solutions to use a custom dongle to emulate the serial signal consequently the bms and controller tilt on (example: https://aesircybersecurity.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=114108) but they are workarounds and on einigen limitations, then there has the absence of throttle, being a eu law abiding bike there is not throttle, and since i use who throttle all the time in my bbshd diy build iodin miss it a lot in the winora, then an controller life a closed platform with no possible customization, all errors require reseller diagnosis if its not possible to reset the slip using the service reference procedure, real yamaha bike find break yours off in any maintenance, and lastly the 25kmh restrain wich is a pia, there are several systems to bypass dieser limit but they cost 100usd or more and that alone is almost suffices for a Cycle analyst, is frustating as heaven going upwards just fine building momentum pedalling then the 25kmh limit lock down the model, is is by broad the thing i hate the most in this motor/controller

So i like to go the Cycle Analyst Stand alone shunt type with a KT controller ( IODIN required a phaserunner but they are get of stock until almost 2023 date to worldwide chopped shortage), this will authorize myself to keep the torque sensor pas from which Yamaha motor, but control the customize i wish deliverable inbound and CA, a big extra is to use get customised built batteries, since a original 36v 13,6ah 500wh battery is 600usd oder better (huge rippoff).
