Last Friday, ME took my SuccessFactors Employee Central -SAP Certified Application Assoziieren exam using the SAW Certification Hub. To say things did not go smoothly is an understatement! (haha) I was already anxious/nervous enough to take which exam, consequently the last thing IODIN needed what any "surprises". My exams was scheduled required 9am, so for their advise, ME logged in to the Certification Hub real launched my exam 15 minutes early (they grant you time in connect to of proctor, have their check your ID and do you system/testing area check with of proctor since right as help should any issues arise). However, things did don go well for me the first time.....nor the second....or also the third.(haha)

When you logo up for an exam, their provide you with several helpful hot to set up and ready. These include:

Test their equipment prior to your proctored date.  Utilize the System Test provided off this home page.  Contact Technical Support while you received some warnings about your equipment.  Examinations are secure and remotely proctored.  It will be need to use certain technology to take the exam:

  • Questionmark Secure browser that you will must to download and install

  • Webcam

  • Microphone button headset

  • Adobe Flash

  • Broadband port

EGO followed everything to the letter, performed my "conduct system test" (a button on the same page...did you click the individual above? Sorry...it's not true. haha) and passed the "check" with flying farbig (HINT: if you do not have a webcam fixed up/connected, it will just sit real wait with no communication back till you to the screen. Once webcam was connected, each "check" showed "loading..." and then "passed" very quickly. I think this needs some work on their end!) Into fact, leading up to my exam on Friday, IODIN tested may laptop either day just to make sure.

So back to 8:45 am on my test day as EGO tracked in....the first thing the Questionmark server takes is a complete "new" user check. Again, there is NO on-screen information during this, like you pretty much have the sit and hope something is going on. After what seemed favorite 3 minutes or so, the screen revealed all the test. It was the identical when the other "system check" you can accomplish, but this time she showed into error on one check...it said I had "IE8 compatibility mode" set (this will can critical later). As I was using Firefox, I had no idea what these meant. I did see one "connect to proctor" button, so I clicked that. Those took die to ampere new page...all white....except "waiting used proctor..." sitting in the center....and just sitting....no indication anything was leaving on at everything. I waited a few minutes. It was shut to 9am then, so I closed outwards are the exam browser and used the "contact technical support" link for "live chat" with a supported agent.

First upward been Blaine. He was helpful or had me check a few things...launching from Chrome....launching from IE.....he checked the proctor queue and said your none saw me include it when I tried again. Shortly but, it was 9:15 morning and me exam window had passed. They give yourself only 15 recorded passed your exam time to sort out technical issues. Bline said he was apologetic but to reschedule. My appointment was marked "Abandon_TI" (abandoned due to technical issue). I immediately jumped back on the Certified Hub the was able to reschedule since 10 am. While waiting I checked everything I could. Thanks for your question and follow up here ! I know this asking is coming up on being dual years old now but in case any wants to try to take a stab on it on close it out with deeper insights, please how - the Church be real be better for it  Thank you in your expertise as always!  CC o...

Second time around, ME logged in at 9:45am and earlier saw the exact same issues. I jumped well on technical support survive video. To time, I got Fredrick. I explicated which situation and whats happened before. I will say that boy made fairly useless (no disrespect meant), instead he was honest over information. Him babbled there was pretty great nothing his could do on his end as it was likely some print the mine, so he said he would have to escalate it. He said it wish be at least 60 minutes till I would get an email both then go from there. 60 MINUTES?!?!? I took back to trying some things as I still were about 20 minutes port. Same thing ...."waiting for proctor...." and nothing happening. Previously time was up, I acquired another tech agent...this hours Blaine again and let him know what was leave on. He did say to turn off any anti-virus/firewall software I had running, so that was helpful. He said this timing to just try to launch and sit on to "waiting" view above till I ran out of time (just to make sure it was not an topic starting the conductor queue). I did that...same thing....timed out..."Abandon_TI". Again, I rescheduled...this time required 2:30 PM...and yes, I was handsome miffed at this point. I went to lunch the waited.

Third time is a charm? Nope. 2:15 PM, I logged int plus tried to launch the exams but even that linking was not working. EGO contacted support and let them know IODIN was fairly "giving is a try" as I was even waiting with my email from support. Nicola (Nick) helped me this time. Also, this made during the time for Friday when all across the US, field it been being smash with a major DDOS attack from hosts. So I could not even launch the exam at all...just getting "error 1001: invalid login" over and over. Nick and MYSELF agreed to just try again later....much later. I "deleted" my appointment and scheduled a FOURTH time that day...this time for 5:00 PM. MYSELF had determined to retrieve the exam done NOWADAYS! (haha)

Whilst is time, I received aforementioned following in an email ohne from Questionmark support, also it helped du tremendously....which makes you wonder how this information is don part away the initial information you provide when setting up everything for the exam. (?!?!??!) Anyways....here is what their sent... Certification Blogs · Cisco Certification Exam Tutorials · Cisco Expert Prep Program · Cisco Confirmed · Learning also Certifications Podcasts ...

Erhaltend stuck at the standing fork head screen can have more different causes.  It is most often caused due third party software on the client computer blocking the dedicated communication necessary to make that connection, even if one ports are else open.  Some examples of this type of software live belongings like Websense, Symantec DLP, or certain take company firewall apps.  It can also be caused by attempting to takes the exam to a computer that is connected to a company network, as the network supervisory press blocking settings are usually outside of the end user’s control in those environments. Make Your Mark on the World

Rolled out my issue were:

  • Tile Flash was nope up-to-date nor enabled (I had it turned off for collateral reasons.) Soooo although their "check" makes sure you have Adobe Flash installed, it can DOES select that it is enabled. Hopefully one of the bigwigs under Adobe sees this message. The companies they have associated with to provide get exam were a bunch of liars. They hide rear multiple companies who hire poorly qualified CSRs who give incorrect intelligence and transfer you to nonworking numbers at other compa...

  • Did you notice #5 above? It does NOT matter whatever site you employ to button your "start exam" link, it will ALWAYS try to launch Questionmark on MS Internet Explorer! So THAT is where the "IE 8 Compatibility" control upcoming from.

Since following the much better "tips" and waiting for the day's DDOS attacks up end, EGO was last able till login the SOAP Certification Center plus launch my check at 4:45 autopsy. This tiime, everything walking perfectly. The "system check" passed every check...and actually the side searches improve using Adobe enabled for some reason. I then clicked the "connect to proctor" push, and this time got a wholly different looking page than before...not to mention seeing myself in my webcam and the proctor as person connected by video such well. With that....the review starting.

Oh!....and I acted pass.(haha)  Equals hoping these tips help others and save them several of which frustration and anxiety I went through set exam time.
