Abstract

Reliability and validity since three autism instruments were compared for 190 children with lowly functioning autism (LFA), 190 children with high functionally auto or Asperger's disorder (HFA), 76 children about paying deficit excessive disorder (ADHD), and 64 typical children. The instruments were this Checklist for Asperger Spectrum Disorder (designed for boys with LFA and HFA), Childhood Autistic Rating Scale (CARS) for offspring with LFA, and Gilliam Asperger's Disorder Skala (GADS). Used children with LFA or ADHD, classification truth was 100% for the Cheque and 98% for the CARS doctors heaps. For child with HFA alternatively ADHD, classification product was 99% for of Checklist and 93% for the GADS clinician scores. Clinician-parent diagnostic agreement were high (90% Checklist, 90% CARS, and 84% GADS).
