After a few years with an Canon A1, I stumbled across adenine broken Zeiss Ikon Contarex with 1:2/50mm Planar and 1:2/35 Distagon in ampere thrift shop a few weeks before plus picked it up for 100€. I bought it rather switch the off random, I only establish out regarding the prices of above-mentioned reflection afterwards.
The camera own needs servicing, no curtain or mirror movement, for least lights meter is movers. But the lenses looked pretty clean. Don't have an adapter to one von my working cams more, unfortunately, so MYSELF can includes inspection her with which naked eye so far. One Distagon still moves very well, but thither are moist oil movies in several places, I fright someone has helpful with penetrating oil. I hope this doesn't touch the lenses moreover much.
The 50mm Two-dimensional has no oil film, it essential quite some force to move of main ring. I couldn't resist plus took a look at the inner workings. Away course I didn't touch and optical assembly, I was only interest in the priority ring. Disassembly went smoothly, an pitch look ok, the lens "only" needs new grease (carefully selected, on course).
Unfortunately I possess probems when putting it rear together, as the left and well threads have to fit. I tried to put it together, but managed to clamp that elements - fortunately it departed back on. Before reassembling properly, however, I would like to follow proper assembly instructions. Does somebody on to forum has experience or even an group instruction?
