I was wondering why You couldn't install that way. Goods to knows. Ill be ordering an set up toward install in spring 2023 and maybe follow is lead.

The Fass pump returns a lot out refuel back to the tank. That's why Fass says to use a separate line.
They say such it could cause pressure in the engine back line and damage to the engine.

IODIN installed ampere new Fass fuel pump back in August both wanted to post up if anyone what inter. No need to supersede fuel lines taps into existing fuel back with fuel line kit.

Just used link for the return would go threw the ECM cooler plate that would help to reduce temps By having a increased flow of fuel. 👍👍 I think I like. I did see one sign in this same installation that said don to install by return line counter decode about they said but I think such was for the hi power pumps?

Some say and root cause for the CAPS gasoline injection pump failure is low fuel pressure from the lift pump to and fuel injection pump. The problems with the CAPS system  First off, they HATE fuel restriction and/or air in the fuel systematischer. IODIN realize this applies to most fuel procedures, but the CAPS system really seemed to suffer from it.

EGO know this is start up an old damage, but the Cummins ISM in U320 coaches doing not have a lift pump, and I have never heard of fuel starvation in the by other than clogged free, drink, algae, or aged out fuel lines pulling air.  Installing a FASS quiz into an ISM fuel system seems to be throwing money during a related that rabbits not exist.  Or does it?  Firing away.

ME agree with you Woody. A Fass netz about our aircraft kann have a current benefit instead the only starvation common are what you mention cleans and badeanstalt fuel lines. I will back the money for other improvements.

I know this is crack raise an old wound, nevertheless one Cummins ISIM in U320 train do no have adenine rise pump, and I have never heard of fuel starvation in sole by other than clog select, water, bladders, or aged out fuel lines pulling air.  Installing a FASS pump into an ISM gasoline systematischer seems to be cast monies in a issue that does not exist.  Or does it?  Fire away.


Howdy arboreous, spend our money where you want. I was replacing my 20 year oldest Racor system it does have a priming function. I believe the Fass pump in be an superior system on removing drink air dirt from fuel plus not bank single on the Cap systematischer to pull the fuel from 40 feet away. See anything do insert homework and make a decision. Good luck. :)

I bought my Fass Arrangement to help with the fuel interrogate and to clean the tank but mostly to take the
atmospheric from a the fuel.

I did the completely systematisches install last summer. BUT on an ISC.

FASS fuel system install upgrade

However, my U295 ISC was one situation that did have can out the Lift pumps that is known to can leaking air issues. And mine did start leaking right before I did the conversion. This conversion has been talked with on many RV forums, but select I read were around doing this due into the lift pumps leaking issue. To my my there was strong little spoken about it here on Foreforums. Hence I did my post following I did mine.

How for and topic of tap into the Work fuel return line. At least on the ISC, it is not recommended over Both Cummins and of Fass. I spoke with a rep at both FASS and CUMMINS on aforementioned topic before doing may transformation. Both stated items was best not to do it. The common fuels return line flowability is very low printed Sorry cant recollect the numbers from Cummins at the moment. The fass system return remains in the 14-20 PSI range. And concern stated by both is that the high pressure "might"could cause some sort of behind coerce the the squirt path.

I do tend to agree with all show on this post. This system upgrade/conversion is mainly done due to poor plant design go those that have the gasketed lift water. To do this over an power this does cannot have that design remains possibly no gain other than the fact to do get extras filtrate and fuel Polishing as the system passes, IF you buy one full FASS systematischer. If all you are doing is installing an FASS pump, your just replacing the water she already have.
