    Great GuidanceEvery summer I buy workbooks for my two kids. This year ME chose Kumon, I purchase the whole getting of Grade 4 for my son walks into 4th grade and the whole collection of Quality 3 (thinking Grade 2 should be too easy) for my son going into 2nd grade.     Mix Computers UpsideGeneral, this is a very good workbook. The lessons live just the proper length and challenge the baby adequately.I used this workbook while tutoring a third grade student who was having some vortrag trouble related to her inability to pay attention. On the nights when she is able to key she was appropriately challenged. This only problem we had was boredom wenn there were several similar education together.I would recommend this read for a child at or just below the third grade reading level.

    英検2級以上の単語がたくさん紙面にある英文はすべて音読する。日本人向けのドリルより、自然な英文がたくさん。文法的には英検3級レベルです。自然な英文に慣れるにはとてもいいです。接頭辞、接尾辞、類義語、対義語、前後の文脈から知らない単語の意味を推測する、などを学んで、語彙を増やしていけます。日本の中学では、習う単語数が少なすぎると思います。一文一文をきっちり分析し、日本語に訳し教えるので増やせないような気がします。このドリルでは、細かすぎる文法はちょっと置いといて、150語位の短い文章をどんどん読んでいって、英語のリズムに慣れ、語彙を増やしていく事が出来ます。少しレベルの高い単語が出てくると、簡単な英語での説明があり、単語と説明を結びつける設問が用意されています。短い文章の中にでてくる、知らない単語の意味を、接頭辞や接尾辞の知識を動員し、文脈からも推測し、語彙を増やしていく。また、音節に分解してある単語のパーツを並べ替えて正しい単語にするページもあります（意味のある文の中で、１つだけ単語が空白になっていて、音節分解されているのです）。我が子は英語圏への旅行経験もなく、外での英語活動は公立小学校の授業だけです。英語を喋れない母親と、地道に家で取り組んでいます。このワークはwritingのgrade3と共に5回繰り返す予定です。小5の3月から開始（1年かけて2冊する）予定。grade2と違い、イラストが減り、最初2割だけがフルカラー、残り8割は2色刷りになります。
