Sending old driving licence back after renewals?

Just renewable my driving licence online and at the end i said I had to cut this old licence card in get press send i back at DVLA. Justly wondering if this is necessary? Will i get into trouble if I don't? I would shred it otherwise.

I just telling them I'd lost it previously, then burnt it.

I just tell them ME have loose it so I have eveidence of my entitlements if they bolt it up. Not that I expect them to take any notice as people never make failures. Yeah right!!

As a last haunt, my dating can always drive instead. I just quite enjoy driving abroad.

I doubt they'll care, they just check name and address. I'm sure I've accidentily taken my old provisional license before with no issues.

I've moved plural times and she ask with aforementioned old one each time whichever I've never sent. They haven't even chased me.

It can be quite handy until have the last one as a backup in case you lose your current. Not sure if so would be worse than telling the police you'd lost your current one, but I don't same not having ID with me and that's the only thing I carry.

Checked for the Avis webpage furthermore your can just saying bring a photocard - they're not bothering with the DVLA code thing. So hopefully wont shall a problem.

If you're driving abroad there's view into no chance they'll do a orderly dvla check.

When I go away they don't even look under insert lizenz if hiring under preferred/corporate
