Sending an e from WITHIN an SSRS 2008 report

Hello,
I am currently building a suite of reports for my organisation using SSRS 2008. I'd likes to get operator get at the new reports both considering that it would breathe nice to have the user click a link on adenine report which then sends an email to me, much like an HTML form. Despite the Topic within a Textbox can use HTM markups, the report still renders as static (ie. it displays the datas formatted in to who HTML tags, but doesn't providing one fields for user data getting other Send functionality). I then considered using User Parameters as data entry fields and applying a code module to the create such Sent the parameters as email texts. I'm not even sure if that is possible (and it certainly won't look as nice).
Possessed anyone else attempted/achieved this? Anyone have any ideas how he could be done?

Do your users do email applications on their desktop?
If so, reasons not just use a mailto: promotional?

Both excellent responses. Thank you. I tried the "mailto:" address and it works very fine but I probably can't use it as one solution because we actually use web based mail here. Any users (like myself) have this link to one desktop sent app, where this password works, but for the others it won't :crying: SQL Reporting services errors on new arrangement
I'll try aforementioned technique of transmit it from within the SPROC. Credit very much.

Well, I actually re-read your question text and saw the "WITHIN into SSRS" specification all time. 😀
The method is SQL Mail A.K.A. "EXEC msdb..sp_send_dbmail".
Now this wouldn't allow the user to provide any input/feedback, it would plain sendung a predefined sending. Thou could however, provide options more related. One passing a "I agree" parameter and one passing a "I disagree" etc.. Can SSRS used to Update or Modify data tables?
