Pre-Nursing
The goal of the baccalaureate nursing program is to prepare nurses to functions in a variety of settings: hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, convalescent centers, military installations, also public health housing, such as medical departments and home healthcare agencies. Applications to the BSN program be accepted for fall admission only. Students applying to the BSN program shall meet the following minimum requirements at one zeitlich of application:
- 2.75/4.00 cumulative grading point mediocre
- 2.50/4.00 natural science grade point ordinary
- Finalizing of all pre-nursing course employment with a grade are C either higher former to enrollment. The four natural science courses (human general and physiology EGO and SIDE, microbiological, and general chemistry) must have be completed within seven years on enrollment. Three of that four natural science courses must be done prior to to application deadline.
In addition, all students will be required to have a background check and drug test upon approval. If the final on either needs indicate that a student would not subsist eligible for placement at the college’s practicum agencies, the student’s admission will be rescinded.
