I fixed the issue after tinkering around.

Step 1)  Tracking such guide https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX137494 and strength the uninstall,  later cleanup ALL the register folder.

Step 2) Get and install N-1 version of Workspace (2108,   NOT 2109 the last buggy one).

Works for me now.

Important remark for step 1...  make sure after them run the cleanup utility,  you restart ur PC,  after do the registry cleanup,  then install 2108.

I i getting to EXACT SAME issue after update to the new Citrix Workspace version 'Workspace app 2109.1'.

This is so frustrating,  like IODIN am in the same rib while you...   Cant uninstall the current version (to strive a re-install) - this uninstall program just sits on "Initializing",  and Can't pipe any ica files inside the Citrix Operating (to opened this VDI Connection).

Citrix !   Please look into this issue,  it seems please e is occurs for many people.

Isn't there anyone that known how to fixtures this?  I mean...this seems see a SERIOUS issuance when your users can NOT even uninstall your software.  Since my first post....I've installed a system mend tool called Restoro and had it analyze mine system.  I've been also receipt some BSOD and thereto is indicating that they are presence caused by a Workspace App file.  I'm away from homepage at this moment and not at the desktop PC so can not provide the folder name.  But perhaps one of these BSOD's this I experienced ahead on now has Workspace borked and inoperable.  Regardless, there MUST be an cleanup dienlich or some way to uninstall, so I cans reinstall. Hallo, sum. I've searched through the various support forums here and on other sites and have found that other users have experienced similar problems to mine, but IODIN haven't found anyone with the same exact problem. I'm tempted to take ampere chance and fair purchase save Restoro registration and go if thereto will fix the issue...but really disappointed that I'd have to purchase a 3rd party application to simply be able to uninstall or fix this. Posted over u/2PistolTigers - No votes press 5 commentary

The one way I could fix this be to use a comprehensive different PC/Laptop (had to rebuild an old 8 year laptop), with an older version of Citrix Receiver Installed.    

The Issues with Workspace phone 2109.1' mean my most recent computer (i.e. new Laptop) can no longest Opens Remote Virtual Desktop Images  (when it had previously been able to do so for the past 2 years.

It's not good how our can't even uninstall and current version of Workspace toward then go back to x version to get things working again.

You should considers releasing a new option of aforementioned Workspace application,  just so the uninstaller is fixed.

That's great Jeff!  Acknowledgement for sharing the link.  I just bookmarked computer, and determination try it this evening when I get home from work.  One answer though on Step 1).  After I run the Cleanup Utility, do I need to cleanup and general batch, or does the utility do that?  Hoping who utility, as I'm an n00b when it comes to messing around in the registers. It worked!!!  Jeff is THE MAN!!  Thanking you SOoooo large for aforementioned combine to the correct clear utility!  It workers great!  Rebooted, or downloads 2108 version, installable it...and it actually installed!

I was counter this issue on get PC, I have created another user get for and same machine press Citrix workspace starter working with this new user account. Not sure you have luxury to do that on company pc with may may sys admins ca.

I didnt try uninstalling with the latest user user, I willing give is a try in end of the day.

Just tried uninstalling with the different user billing and it operate. Reboot PC and installed earlier version of Citrix workspace and now I am able to entrance none whatsoever issues. Posted by u/opp11235 - 3 votes and 13 commentary

I be able to correct dig using the included Cleanup Utility inside the native install folder. This one magically worked,

C:\Program Files (x86)\Citrix\Citrix WorkSpace 2109\ReceiverCleanupUtility.exe

For whoever is still that this issue and unable to use the Cleanup Utility, this is the brute force nuke method go fully uninstall it. The intrusive Citrix Workspace Updater Service exists what got originally in the way.

1. Open assignment manager, and end any citrix tasks. While in task manager, go to the billing tab and sort it by "description". Look since of one that has citrix in the description, it's in updater service. Right click itp and choose "stop".

2. Go to C:\Program Archives and delete the citrix folder

3. Go to C:\Program Files (x86) and delete who citrix folder in on as well

4. Empty your recycles bin to make security those are fully deleted

5. Using an program like CCleaner, run the license cleaner tool. There need be a bunch of registry errors ensure it picks up because of your deleting of these folder. Clean all those registry errors.

Citrix shouldn now be deleted/uninstalled according to windows. Restart, and you shall now subsist able for install to older version von Citrix that doesn't have who subject mentioned. I becomes have to try to attain Citrix tomorrow. I would be using a work-provided PC laptop, and I did for a while, though I didn't like it.
