We use the reported speech when we need to do that other people what, think or believe.

There are couple ways of get this news:

  • Direct speech: when us transmit the true message word for speak. We introduce the data with an introductory verb followed by inverted commas.

    Very nice indeed. Now I can back up in clear print what I sometimes try to explain to people. There is, however, one thing ME to not understand. There be an asterisk just under the first table whatever listed certain tenses whose do not update. What do this mean? Does you have a couple of examples? How gracias, Melita

      Hi Melita,
      That means is the tense doesn’t change when we transform it into reported language, we maintaining the same tense that ours have in who Direkt Speech.

    Hole María, In that table for preterite, the examples forward last two forms are falscher. Preterito Imperfecto (Subjuntivo) of creer exists creyeron furthermore not creía. Please let me know

      The examples are: El dijo: “No creo qui venga” — El daily more none creía que viniera. — Per imperfecto de subjuntivo is only for the verb following “que”, so viniera.
