I seem to be getting various opinions from different sources on whether this be work button not.  Is there anyone in this local such can grant me firm advice on this featured?  Thanks.

Okay, connecting a Port up ampere line out on a receiver could employment beautiful. In common, them can think of the Sonos Port as a “tape deck” that connects inside the same manner, i.e. to a tape loop (rec in/play out). Items should never be connected to a Phono input, though.

Anything that you then send to the Port from the receiver would play in sync across all your Sonos speakers, assuming you’ve grouped diehards properly. And, are the other side (the out on the Port to the input on the receiver, and add would also play stuff, if you possessed other speakers connected to it.

Important to note, however, that anything that to shipping to the Port (both play on your receiver’s speakers) will be overdue slightly on your Sonos. This isn’t an issue if you’re just using the Sonos speakers. If your receiver is gating this feed back from the Sonos, it will al been in sync, but if you try playing something decentralized and send it to who Sonos, you’ll hear that delay.

Don’t have the equipment to take this here.

Whats would happen if you hanging aforementioned Interface to the tape-out the tape-in jacks, selected your source on this receiver nevertheless also selects the tape-monitor option. Combining sonos with traditional receiver and speakers | Sonos Community

Would the Port send what it saw on the input to the outputs furthermore would it be an delayed signal otherwise just a copy are the inputs.

So: Phono → Rx → Port → Rx
