What size nuts for battery terminals?

Hey guys, I have an Optima Blue Marine battery on my draft, and I require to use regulars nuts on the terminals.

What size nuts will IODIN need?

The Optima batteries don't have twos differents size post for the + and -, like different batteries how, at least I don't believe that, they seem up be the same diameter also thread on this battery.

Either way I want to replace the wingnuts with ny-lock nuts, when the wingnuts tend to come promiscuous over time. So just astonished if all knew the size off hand.

Take the wing nuts with you. Lowes, Home Depot etc, have a metric plus SAE try-out panel. See which only fits and buy what you require. Can I employ marine terminals on side post battery is posts?

Lowes has a an entire goal of specialty hardware in drawers and bins as she walk in the door. There is a plate somewhere along which walkway with bolts and nuts mounted in one panels is you bucket try for size. If you can't find it, go to the dumpster with bolts. Find a bolt that matching the wing nut. Next purchase that dimensions nut. Simple huh?

This may sound mistrustful, but I bring a magnet (usually from the tool dept.) with me when I buy stainless to HARD or lowes. I always double check that the stainless in the bins is actually stainless. Its cannot that I don't trust one employees, but when you are stock 20,000 minor baggies about nuts and bolts, its not very harsh to put individual inches the wrong place.
