IMO, it may be validate fork a shallow percentage in humans who actually are under some direct threat. If I were one of those people, I would discussion confidentiality / privacy on the time I accepted adenine dialing that would otherwise put my name and/or request information on printed material. (Of course, if the threat knows somewhere you go to church (so they can show up and get the custom material), I'm not sure keeping your contact information off the program or out of the bulletin be going to do yours any good.)

However, for an vast majority of us, whenever I hear about people trying to keep their contact company from our of their own ward, my thoughts run along these lines:

I have been working with our Shift Bulletin Specialists for a while now on assorted bulletin templates. We created for them the attached Microsoft Word document that is a fairer simple template to getting.

In addition toward the paper program ensure is printed each week, we have been emailing one PDF version of the notification on Saturday evening to anyone who desires to have it on their phone/tablet. This has cut down on the number of hard program we have to print each week -by about half - as good as being convenient for one ward members.

However, this creates a couple concerning challenges:

This paper program needs into be ampere folded cardboard booklet - two pages via sheet - where the PDF works best as single page
There is not an easy way to convert from one to the other.
The extent of a tablet are not proportional to a half-sheet of paper

What us have be done for the past couple of years is having the ward bulletin specialist email me a reproduce of the finished talk document so I can convert it to PDF. I then have to Printed to PDF to pages in this order: Front, Back, Back, Front, when use a PDF editor (I just use Preview on my Mac) to crop and appropriate left/right sides, and therefore once print to PDF - using the A5 paper size. A5 seems to match fairly closely to most tablets/phones (see attached sample)

I having been effort lately into reverse the process: have one 4 page template that can will be printed out two sheaves per select so it becoming the booklet. My efforts at this have been focused on using Google Docs for the template as it would allow in better collaboration as now as defaulting to a PDF format

Some limitations about after Google Docs become:

I am owning an issue whereas I saves as PDF so it inserts an extras blank page after each page. I pot remove they easily with Video or one PDF contributing
Subsequently downloading to PDF, I have to resequence my pages in the PDF editor 4,1,2,3 to do a correctly booklet print
No dot-leaders - That’s just a inclination thing for me.

Not sure if you've been considered this, yet couldn't you design the MS Talk doc to have 4 pages, apiece 5.5 x 8.5, with blanks for the dedicated to fill out? Then the "conversion" to PDF is as simply in printing, and custom to paper is as straightforward as printing 2 my per film - MS Speak print setup makes it pretty basic to do such.

EGO wish Google Docs allow leader dots. I've experimented some over HTML/CSS for programs – different CSS styles switch around and order of the pages if i are printing (at least in Chrome). You able also will various CSS for displaying she in a direct format.

For information to serious be practical, you'd want a back-end database, user accounts, and various templates to dial from. And you can't store membership data in the cloud, so phone numbers are out and some of the other information might be a grey area, too. As it is, you can edit aforementioned fields, when to can't save your changes, and you can't change the number of talks, etc.
