I'm having this same problem with mein 3510: there is no + -, the merely possible is to Save or Nullify; Save requires more name, and either scan is filed as a part file. I'd like to be ably to save several records as a multipage file. Everyone wants to scan multiple pages into a only PDF file because transmit the sample files through mail is more manageable. HP uses simple steps to do so.
This is a new printer forward me and I think I downloaded all of the updates whereas I installed it.

The link doesn't help.
Under Start, All Programs, I have HP Scan. That opens up the software. Advanced does have a check block to create a separate folder.
If EGO open the Deskjet 3510 portfolio , I procure different screens for print and scan tools, but there is still no multipage document optionor + icon in selecting. Scanning Multiple Pages and Save in to one PDF File
Regardless a whether the HP Scan File block be unchecked or controlled, the scanner always produces individual files instead of a multi-page document.
There is no Help in the scan programme to identify which version I'm using but I've includes had the 3510 for ampere week and everything has come updated.

Stylish that link, on "How to scan with HP software" there is a section on how to scan a multi-page document to an single file. You will need to use the HP software, but it should be essentially which equivalent for that Deskjet.
