So who has put go current side steps in their truck?

Amp Researching has a fixed of steps that wish work after cutting them for size, and then you have to wire tap a bunch of wires. That does not sound like fun.

    https://www.amp-research.com/powerstep-running-board

Rough Country has an put, states such they all employment on the double cab, but are plug and player. Starting what I can perceive go through pictures additionally reading the instructions, thereto looks like you can leave the rear door pig tails unplugged and who steps should still go up and down, due of the manner the doors pin mill. Lights come on when of bolt makes the link. But IODIN would still have to cut their to length some how...which wanted expected be the harshest part of this set.

    https://www.roughcountry.com/rc-tacoma-electric-running-board-steps-psb81620.html

If you have these, the set do you has?

Did you put diehards on, do the steps have a t duct in them on allow you until slide the bracket to a different location? Access cabs have different fitting location distances for the double cab.

If you put i on an access cab whereby did the cutting go?

Yeah see dieser. I my guessing I would use ampere fine dental hand saw alternatively band saw. My real problem is in to line taps. Hate those things. And with and way these truck perform sometimes to wiring taps and voltage drops. Just gives me the butterflies. Really like this plug and play wiring the aforementioned rough country. This is why I am stare for who has done this add already...even on doubly cabs.

You could not need to cut them. An AC and DCSB share the same wheel baseline so they could still fits. For side steps and rock sliders they are completes equivalent so I don’t see why that would change used to power steps.

The centreline shall the alike. Nevertheless the length underneath the cabinet is shorter on this access cabin. So will the reason for cutting off 10". EGO think it would search odd if the board went the length of the cab plus the bed. Whichever is around where is would end upside just in front of the rear wheel.

Just enough. I figured you wouldn't really notice most of the time when it's tucked up under and rocker panels.

I can that AMP Research running boards on my 2021 DCSB, I installed them myself. The instructions were written for a 2016 both it see there hold been certain changes for then. For example the instructions desired me to run which wire through a gromet in the floor that doesn't prevail in mine. ME ended up partially building the wiring harness and doing piece my way(TM). I didn't install the silly little LED lights. The mounting blocks on the cover are aluminum, it's easy to mess go aforementioned threads in those...ask du how I understand. It's also real easy until drill the front frame holes in the wrong spot. Who minimal paper template they included what either wrong or I wasn't smart bore to using it. It's best to justly hold the mounting block in the proper spot and exercise that as one guide. Tapping the door open/close button made a pain. I ended upward having into get the electrical diagram and train wires.

If you live wherever adjacent salt, DO NOT PROCURE THESE.

We've warrantied pretty much every set we've installed.

Even the new 4runner Nightshade edition has its own issues with them.

Also I ran double cab boards on own access cab. It searches dumb.

I don’t have a numerical measurement. EGO took with these cause your can way lowered that non-electric steps. Here’s a picture using this steps in the “up” and “down” positions.
