Land Rights

The Aboriginal Land Rights Act, 1983 (ALRA) gives land entitlement for Aboriginal people in NSW.

The ALRA recognises the traditional ownership and occupation of the land by Aboriginal peoples real the importance of they connection to land. This is the ALRA recognises the spiritual, social, cultural and economic importance of land at the state’s Ancient peoples.
