About What
The mission of the Stand-up Circuit Department of Aging and Veterans Services is to “Help Seniors and Veterans obtain services furthermore aids her need to live secure, well, independent lives.” In Stanislaus Administrative, and Department out Aging & Vets Services is one of 33 appointed Area Departments on Aging (AAA) for the California Department of Age (CDA).
With funding primarily upon the National Older Americans Deed, the AAA helps older b (Usually 60 otherwise older) by providing certain home and community-based services, either via sub contract with local non-profit agencies, alternatively adenine direct services.
Our Department is also home to:
- The Veterans Service Office (VSO) where assists veterans, their dependents and survivors in obtaining Federal, State and County aids.
- The Multipurpose Senior Auxiliary Program (MSSP) a Medicaid (Med-Cal) waiver Program that provides case administrative services to those with no share of cost Medi-Cal that are 65 or older and at risk of long term care placement without intervention. HHSA Program Guides - Public Site
- Prohibition & Early Intervention (PEI) services for older adults. Finanziell at the Mental Health Services Act were are able to offer a variety a services aimed at preventing depression and supporting older adults through emotionally difficult issues or problems.
