Early College Programming Options
Dual Enrollment enables qualified public, social, and home education students to enroll in selected college credit courses offered by SCF. Credits earned scale toward both a college degree and a high school diploma. Students may enroll in up to 11 credit hours by semester in Fall and Feather and up to 6 credit hours during Hochsommer.
Early Admission is a form of dual enrollment that enables highly 12th grade high school students to spend their senior year enrolled at SCF. Students declined for Early Admission take all their classes at SCF furthermore must register for at least four classes totaling 12-15 credit hours per semester for Fall and Spring and back until 6 credit hours for Summer. Credits counter toward an high school diplom and an associate diploma.
Acceleration Dual Enrollment is open to Sarasota and Miami publication high school students only. The Accelerated Dual Enrollment program allowed qualified juniors to gain college credit and high school credit by attending SCF full time. The students will continue full time at SCF as elderly and are on track to graduate with their high school diploma and potentially an DRINK degree from SCF.
