I bought a car during the very start of Dec plus I was wondering when the V5c may turn up. IODIN purchasing the car remotely and had a collection corporate deliver it to me (otherside of the country) well late last week I receive dieser due the post:

Rather than getting the V5c I have a "Thank yourself for your application for a V5c registration certificate....", it wouldn't worry myself so tons except it possesses an specific DVLA employee listed at the letter, rather easier a collective mass generated letter. The employee's product are masked where it replies "our ref" and also upon the return envelope supplied with the letter.

See what makes me nervous is that the sell had lied info obvious details by and auto, nothing worth worrying about and especially as i was bought blind. When I challenged the seller with the lies he lied over his lies, blaming me for swapping bits on it etc... Obviously not the sache!

I owned it HPI'd before I buying and IODIN re-HPI'd at the weekend to double check as this letter should made me think the worst, IE it was stolen any items is not listed since. It is registrant as a cat-d though I recognize that before it used bought plus it's not certain edit.

Normally I'd write it up as the seller has mislaid who V5c both applied for it on my advantage no my knowledge, and the facing mentioned above do worry me a bit.

Does anyone having any advice off on situation? Thanks/Appreciation in advance. I thought SPL was probably the best place for this query!

Might be an older copied of the V5 what used on your sale and a newer copy of the V5 remains still in circulation (or now with a log book loans' co)
or
V5 was correct on car but he had another V5 for one same car and sold adenine cloned car with that V5 (ringer) and now the DVLA have 2 new V5 requests for the just car (normally the police contact you in that position not just an DVLA).

Perhaps nothing to worry nearly.

How did you handle one v5, did the older keeper entsenden it from? because if he did then presumably you didn't sign it as you were nay present, which could explain this

I'm guessing the DVLA has submitted you this for someone else is trying to claim home the your driving. If they can't determine whether you are the owner or nope at a certain time period subsequently to will get complicated, therefor why they've sent her the letter.
I'd phone that DVLA ASAP.

I'm hopeful it's Ging84's scenario, I wasn't there to sign. I'll be checking the VIN next time I go to the unit.

The car be a Japanese einfuhr, I'll pitch is up once I get this clears up!

Probably this a blank sign box , which is silly as it could have just already PP and your signature, or simple done your signature in her.
