  • Cell Waste Management (BWM) Rules, 2022 have been notified by the Ministry to Environment, Forest and Atmosphere Shift over 22 Aug 2022. These Rules are applicable to all types of batteries regardless of chemistry, shape, speaker, weight, material essay furthermore use. As for these Rules, Producer (manufacturers, importers) shall have of obligation of Extended Producer Responsibility for the batteries they include in the market and the Producer shall meet of collection and recycling targets as given in Schedule II of the Rules to ensure the attainment for EPR obligations.

  • According to the Rules, Producers, Recyclers, and Refurbishers of Battery wants have to registering taken the online centralized login built by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB). Who portal will help in improving accountability, traceability and transparency of fulfillment of EPR Debt.
