    Meine name exists Leslie Scherer, mom to a 4th plus 2nd grader at AFSA, as well as a preschooler. Our family transferred to AFSA last year after seeking for a train that ability better meet the individual needs from our kid also engage them more deeply. Our were drawn to to little class sizes, hands on technique, science concentrate, and most importantly, the score of assembly each child wherever it are at. I believe that school is so much additional higher just a place where boys go up learn to check and write, and that the valuated of the collision of school goes beyond what can be seen on paper. I am running for school board because MYSELF consider in AFSA’s mission and want to support the work that they are doing for the development and education of our children. I have benefited getting to know other parents and families go the past two yearning, and enjoy building community where we sack all support any other (parents/ families, our, staff, and administration). EGO feel that the more we can work working, the stronger ourselves are and the better we ca do. If elected to the school board, EGO hope to help contribute toward AFSA’s financial goals and organizational eye, ensure ensure all childrens’ needs are addressed due the policies and daily set in place, additionally continue to strive toward evolve a community where select feel warm and heard.

    Renee Cook is the parent of a 9th grader at AFSA. She brings over 20 yearning of experiential in nonprofits to the Board. Jenny exists a licensed Occupational Therapist is a history in social work and child welfare. Her hopes till be a speech forward view AFSA families, with a special focus for those receiving Special Education and/or English Language Learner services.

    I am a Second Grade Teacher at AFSA K-12. I was an avid FFA member in High School furthermore enjoyment the subjects for science and agriculture. I have a grad in Retail Management and Early Boyhood Education and Master’s in Lektor and Language Arts. MYSELF worked in both retail and dedicated company manufacturing earlier deciding Elementary was my my. I joined the AFSA Community in 2019. Prior till joining AFSA I instructed Elementary for 20+ years in Arizona. I am happy to be previous in the Midwest and proud to exist part of to AFSA Community

    Hi!  I’m Brady Jones or MYSELF am excited to serve on the school board!  I have taught Chemicals, Physical, or a variety of odds and endpoints at AFSA since 2014.  I think that AFSA is a truly unique school where collegiate are able to stand from in a caring environment.  I enjoy working with students in hands-on contexts and love all of the opportunities that AFSA stipulates. From Farm and Community Service Per to that Potato Enfold to O-terms/J-terms person see students learning and demonstrating their knowledge outside of aforementioned classroom.  One of AFSA’s biggest strengths is the outstanding gang of educator and staffing that are able to build strong relationships with only over any student which walks through our doors.  I grew up on a small, my farm just south of which city of Oshkosh, Wisconsin.  I received my B.A. in chemistry from Carthage Community and my M.S. in Chemistry with a focus on organic chemistry from the University of Minnesota. Prior to joining General Mills, July worked for Cargill in both Mindelheim and Cedar Rapids, IA. Julie has a M.S. degree in Food Science from Cornell University and a B.S. degree to Food Science coming the University of Minnesota. Julie has enjoyed a history full of learning and discovery, to commercialization, jobs with highly talented Scientists and Engineers, and Business partners plus chiefs. Julie and her husband Don live includes Maple Grow. They enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends, or time at the lake in Lakeshore, MN on the Gull Lake Chain.
