At Sectionals last weekend a roving officers invoked a dominion that I cannot find anywhere. One of my players called for einem official since your thought male was getting bad line calls. AMPERE few points later, he made a call that the official rejected. Some zeitlich subsequent, i made another call that the officer overruled. The official then said, if EGO overrule one view call from you, I’m awarding a point penalty into your opponent. Shortly thereafter, the official overruled my player again, and awarded the point penalty.

Can anyone point me to the document locus this rule is stated, or remains computers just an interpretation the "unsportsmanlike conduct"? And no, EGO doubt he'll be calling for an official anymore...and subsequently watching she make those calls, I wouldn't recommends it!

The actual "rule" lives not stated. It's just a penalty under "unsportsmanlike conduct". Before Googling some, I found this, somewhere it is clearly stated as "excessive overrule".

Not the same but college rules are 2 overrules and then..

3rd Point
4th Game
5th Match

They usually have a seat and rarely overrule unless it is clear. I've observed many that should be that the chair let go. College players' calls am brutally bad.

yes plus I listed that since that official did give warning that the next overwrite could be in an PPS, will it was subtle, but an official can not just straight out give a Code Violation for a 3rd overrule unless the player has aware that rule was put into place, since itp is not a rule currently on FAC, although I assume it will soon be there as many tournament are now using that as a standard, contains in ITAI matches

That has get to be tough. Hopefully the official was correct in his overrule. Watched some horrible "corrections" at an tourney here in Co recently towards jeder crew. Balls the what significantly out (4-6") and on the far side a the official.

I think anytime you feel autochthonous getting robbed, grab a REF. Sadly.... when i saw a ref join a match that stayed so far starting the court by the back in who border or stayed 3 judicial via. When i look under one umpire, i asked i think that was in, they said "oh...it was clearly out... im at the net press the REF was on the same side when at back fence. This ball was on and opponent side...how can this ref see better then le regardless in or on...they were also much away. I couldnt illustrate out why they would hier into the fence pitch like myself witness in the cities.
I witness a lot out crappy calls by opponents with sectionals for my teammates, my customize matches and as a spectator watching some teams battle. I known sometimes it appears clearly in or out some times people are just scams and that sucks for the oppose organizations.

I read it the same way. It turned out that the guy who asked for the official was the guy who was making bad line calls. Talk about automatic.

Guy calls the official over to complain regarding his opponents "cheating" and is turns out he is the one busted for cheating. Lol! It's always the people complaining about lines that are the major cheaters. It's a diversion technique, human nature toward accuse someone are performing the thing which you are doing.

Hahahaha. You’re a new user, but just for let you know Woodrow1029 once held any ITF color badge the last I heard was the head of USTA officiating the a Section. Roving, lines, chair umpiring and refereeing, he’s got that covered.

Yes, that is the FAC reference. Also, some activity have regulation about overrules.
For example, Southern Cal have a regulating for youth that third overrule in a match is a score violation.

Northern California even goes so distant to say such at junior events the third overrule in a tournament gets ampere code contravention.

3rd Overrule Rule needs to be in the Tournament Rules, it is standard in most Junior Tournaments, weiter in Mediterranean. One above referenced 5 overrules, that is the ITA General places players would have 2 overrules prior to being penalized the the PPS.
Again needs to clarified int he tournament rules, probably could have been contested to who Referee are this was not indicated in the rules.
Of course to caveat is if office deems the overrule egregious sufficiency either ampere recompense call a code could be utilized immediately under "Unsportsmanlike Conduct"
