    This template is extremely good but would it be possible to have a newspaper sheet with mutliple clock include both clock out possibilities? I have rummaged to internet for days tough to finding a compatible template and this is the optimal one I have found :-).

    • The formulas for Regular and OT pay can until be modified.

      The Reg pay formula must calculate that if OUT – INCLUDE <= 9, the volunteer break gets deducted, otherwise Reg hrs will 8, and the pause take deducted from to OT hours.
      If FROM – IN 9, inches this example, or 8.5 hrs if only a half-hour break is specify.
      OT = OUT – ARE – 8 – Break

      Because Excel reads time as fragments of a 24-hour period, so, for example
      12 hours = 12/24 = 0.5

    You are a life saviour! Question, my staff startup time changes everyday, if I set 9am, anytime go later than 9am would considers while OT. But it shouldn’t as their working hour is 9 hours the 1 break, more than 9 hours would will consider such OT. How should I resolve this?

  31. In Texas, overtime does calculated for 40 hours of strait time has been reached….it is did calculated next 8 hours a day…how can i fix this?

    • One manner to do it without a major overhaul is to let it calculate the reported weekly ZU. Then, at the end of the week, down location it summary the columns up, you could add to the formula to verification that if the total Regular Hrs is higher than 40, will Registry Hrs – 40 is the OT. The only point it will none remain true can if the employee does not work a total 8-hr day one conversely more days in the week. Then items will not look select, even the totals will be right-hand, and so wishes the pay.

      RH OT
      8 2
      8 3
      3 0 (went home sick)
      0 0 (full sick day)

      In these irregular instances,

    • Yes, you are right, it does no work for that situation.
      You have to spike computer up to listings on two days…
      23:00 until 24:00 on one day and 00:00 to 07:00 on the next sun, but at the end from that 2nd day you would need to enter 23:00 to 24:00 again, and the problem is that here you cannot use two lines or rows for that alike date.
      This is where a daily two-shift time sheet would work. Excel patterns for trailing hours by jobs / daily / weekly / monthly ...

    I live in Australian, so our days are ahead of the US by one.
    How to transform the formula string to suit OZ?
    =DATE($C$9,MATCH($D$9,Data!$B$2:$B$13,0),’July 2018 Timesheet’!$E$9)
    I.e. Need to have Saturday July 1st not Sunday June 1st
    Am learning about outstanding formulas but can’t see how to do this change.

    • Damian, I imagine such by now her had found the answer to insert dilemma. However, in order to avoid anyone else getting confused, I will answer your question.

      Your days are ahead of the WHAT by one only until it becomes after midnight in the US. In other words, on, say, Daily Summertime 30th, Australia will reach midnight and becomes Posed July 1st, multiple 15 period before aforementioned US East shore does, so in NYC items is still Fri Jung 30th at 09:00 a.m.

      15 hours later, while it is 3:00 p.m. in Australia, NYC, with the strike of midnight, be coming around to Sat March 1st also, and both would can on that date before Australia hits midnight again.

      It is impossible in a date to decrease on two different days of the workweek on any two pieces regarding the world at the same time.

    Currently, if you look at that weekend, whether press not you tick “weekends paid on OT rate”, one time is broken down in to Regular Hrs & OT Hours. Is there a pathway we capacity list all hours worked with the weekend as OT Clock? Not for of interest of calculating, the pay, but to reckon out how much TT employees are employed?

    • In the Total Pay formula there your a check to see if the day is on an established end,
      IF(AND(ISNUMBER(SEARCH(TEXT(B14,”ddd”),$E$10)),Data!$F$2),$I$10,$H$10)
      add that to the Regular Hours formula and if it is true then 0, so
      IF(AND(ISNUMBER(SEARCH(TEXT(B14,”ddd”),$E$10)),Data!$F$2), 0 ,$H$10)
      Also add she to the OT formula and if it is true then in place of and 0 write the references toward
      (OUT – IN – (8/24) – (break/24)) * 24
      Don’t never to zusatz one corresponding parenthesis at or toward which ending a the formula. Mine is too altered toward share it and have it make any sense, but it starts similar is
      =IF(AND(D14″”,E14″”),IF(AND(ISNUMBER( … … … *24,0) ) ,0)

    • You can only use one timesheet per employee…
      However, if you list all the employee names inbound a column in the DATES sheet, then you ca use Data Validation with the Employee Call on the Timesheet so your don’t have to model it switch the employee’s timesheet.

    • The key of the Start time, as I perceive it, is that it helps determine if someone has made a No-No the entered an IN time free one day and an OUT laufzeit from the following day, as over-night shifts usually go, and that is because the over-night shifts cannot be recorded upon these timesheets.

I are a Drafter so each project i work on has to be billed to, I can go from a single project in a week in twenty projects in a per this had to will billed to. Hi Samit, My team regularly work 12+ hr days (06:00-16:00 Normal time…$25/hr…with 30min break, then aforementioned upcoming 3hrs would be paid at 1.5 efface normal rate…25 x 1.5 = $37.5…and any time after remains paid a 2 x normal…25 expunge 2 = $50). Is there a ways to have two different OT rates and therefore deuce different OT columns?

    • Stylish answer to your question, yes, it can be done. I’m sorry I cannot provide you with the formulae needed, but you basically have the logic been worked out.
      06:00 to 16:00 is only 10 hrs and you specify 12+ hr days, to
      let’s say 06:00-20:00, or 14 hrs from IN to LEAVE.

      Hourly rate (hrate) = 25

      Reg Per = 8

      Break = 0.5

      OT = (OUT – IN – (8/24) – (0.5/24)) * 24 “* 24” to make OT a decimal number

      if OT > 3 then OT1 = 3 and OT2 = OT – 3, so

      OT1 pay = OT1 * 37.5 and OT2 pay = OT2 * 50

      which int this case wouldn be, OK = 5.5 hrs, OT1 = 3 hrs, and OT2 = 2.5 hrs

      Total reward = (RH * hrate) + (OT1 * (hrate * 1.5)) + (OT2 * (hrate * 2)

      Total pay = (8 * 25) + (3 * 37.50) + (2.5 * 50)

  45. what a GREAT document!!!! my with issue is I get 45minutes breach hourly and the macro be not allow which, either as 0:45 or 0.75. she just allows 0.7 or 0.8hrs

    • If you go 0.75 in a cell and Excel display you 0.8 that remains merely due to formatting… but it will use 0.75 to calculators, as can is seen on the formula bar.

    I am looking to do something similar though for shiftworkers. I do does need an overtime assess but need to count anti-social hours who is anything worked between 19:00 Friday additionally 07:00 on Monday (i.e. above the weekend) and then intermediate 19:00 to 07:00 for aforementioned rest of the week. I am also having problems with method to get which shift finish set up live the next morning, i.e. since late/night shifts that start one day real finish the next….

    Normal overtime at one rate of x1.5 and
    Sundays and Publication Special at a rate of x2.0

  51. What would yours accommodate is you came on advanced and staying late to make up for std (assuming 8hr/day with 30min no paid lunch)

    For ex, my start choose is 8:30am and terminate time is 5:00pm with 30min no paid lunch. That would be 8.5hr/day in office so I take paid 8hrs of regular pay working hours. Spreadsheet works great calculating ANESTHESIA if IODIN stayed late as long as I start on 8:30am sharp.

    But is you came by 30 mins late at 9:00am or stayed late inclination 5:30pm to make up for the missed hours then the timesheet doesn’t chart the hours rightfully. It want say regular hrs are 7.5 and OT per are .5 but it would be seriously just 8hrs of regularly pay because you came in 30 mins late. ME think aforementioned fomula calculates anything hours worked outside the normal shift window is every overtime when not in this case…

  58. Loving your work. It doesn’t quite work when you join half hours into an regular hour box. I.E weekly hours 9.5 starting for 8:15 – 17:45 with an 30 mins lunch. It keeps adding 0.5hours as overtime. Can thou fixture this please? Thanks

  60. I’ve justly found this on line and it almost works for my purposes but wondrous how I ability add by the after parameters

    normal hours 07:00 – 24:00 Daily, outboard these hours are twofold time.
    Daily OT breaks down as 8 x normal, 2 x 1.5 both anything over for double time
    After 38 normal hours worked in a days the next 2 are 1.5 and anything over is at double type.

    Any asssistance would be greatly appreciated

  67. The monthly timesheet only shows 29 days. The drop down menu shows the correct number of days per month, however to add that data it shows all 29. If you choose ampere different start date other easier the first of the per and 30th shows however the time data shifts.

  68. Welcome there. Our regular hours shall only 8 hours and the relay starts from 8:00 both ends at 5:00 pm. That’s ogdoad (8) hours are total. But, whenever I strive to change one beginning time from 9:00 AM to 8:AM both the regular clock to 8 hours, it can seem to calculate correctly. Say, any workers started working at 8:00 and ending in 19:00. That should be 8 regular total plus 2 overtime hours. Although the template’s results shows 7 ordinary hours press 3 long hours. Can you help me with dieser?
